Causeway Coast & Countryside

Co. Antrim, in fact Northern Ireland in general, holds a very special place in my heart and it would of been a huge crime not to of featured it into this very special book on some of Ireland's greatest Attractions, take this chapter for instance. Antrim as a county itself, is far to vast and has so much to offer, I couldn't just do one chapter here and so, I have split the county into two, this chapter, Causeway Coast and Glens and it's sister chapter, Belfast City & Region. Basically, everything out of the perimeter of Belfast is located within this chapter and with so much to do in this part of Northern Ireland, you'll be spoilt for choice that's for sure. From rope bridges, to train journeys and scuba diving to historic castles, in fact the whole region itself is one big attraction.

The roads a really good here in the north and nowhere is that hard to find with or without the aid of a good gps map. I found the people in this area to be not only really friendly, but everyone I came into contact with, went out of their way to help in any way they could. I think it also fair to mention the accommodation providers and places to eat that have been carefully selected for you to try. Businesses to suit all tastes and budgets have been chosen and all have something very unique to offer, but don't just take my word for it. Now it's true that Northern Ireland hasn't been without its troubles, but here in this chapter, we forget all about that and transport you to a world full of myths and legends and to a place that is truly built on the minds and hearts of giants.
