I was very honoured to spend a couple of hours in the presence of John & Sharon of Anglesey Hawking. I say honoured, because both of them run a fantastic attraction here in Anglesey, and it was clear to me, that they not only love what they do here, but the birds also. I was also honoured because for a couple of hours I got to make friends with some amazing birds, more so Sam. Sam is a Harris Hawk and was the bird of prey that I took out on my Hawk Walk. We walked through some of Anglesey's prettiest countryside, some of which is Anglesey Hawking's own private land, when eventually we came upon our final resting stop, where Sharon had laid a simply fantastic spread of food, sandwiches, cakes and tea, really did help to bring this special experience to a very special end. I cannot wait to return!
