Arthur’s Bar & Restaurant

Eating Out in Derbyshire

Arthur’s Bar & Restaurant

Located in the beautiful town of Bakewell in the Peak District national park, Arthur’s offers a new contemporary drinking and dining experience. Our aim is to use locally sourced produce to provide fresh, flavoursome, food and present it with simple style. In essence ‘Real Food…done well’. Our fabulous cocktails are second to none with the the traditional favourites alongside Holly and Dave’s latest creations…they all look amazing and taste even better! Please come and join us at any time and enjoy a quick drink with some tasty nibbles, a light bite or a full three course dining experience. We have some great sharing boards which are perfect with a bottle of wine for a leisurely lunch or perhaps a quick midweek supper. Relax with friends in one our cosy booths and be sure of a warm welcome.

A Family Affair; Arthurs is very much a family affair, representing the return of our family to the town of Bakewell after over a hundred years’ absence. (Read Arthur’s story to find out more). With Holly and Dave managing things on site, Holly’s parents Jan and Neil do their best to help with DIY, menu suggestions and hopefully a bit of day to day support and encouragement.

So, for us it’s important to keep it local and provide a venue that the whole community can enjoy on lots of different types of occasions. We would be honoured to host your birthdays, anniversaries, family get togethers and celebrations, and equally pleased to chat over a drink at the bar.

In short you are all welcome…. Do come along and give us a try, you won’t leave disappointed!!!
