Top 100 Attractions Review

Having been open for almost four decades now, Ash End House Childrens Farm has evolved into one of, if not the best children’s farm in the Midlands, I know that’s quite a sweeping statement and if you doubt my words, take a visit here yourself. Well laid out, immaculately kept and with a great team of friendly staff, it’s no wonder people who I spoke to on the day I visited, had it down as one of the best farm parks they have ever visited. I found the entrance fee, against what’s on offer here to be completely reasonable and with the addition now of the new play barn, which is the only added extra price wise, Ash End offers huge value for money, set against its visitor experience. With a Bird of Prey and Shire Horse Centre, along with all of the other animals, you have hours of fun ahead of you, what are you waiting for!

Ash End House Children's Farm

Now operating for over 35 years, our farm is much loved for its friendly atmosphere. Generations of visitors from the same family have enjoyed trips to The Children’s Farm although much has changed from our early days. Families don’t need to book, so come and see us soon! And don’t worry about the weather - nearly everything is undercover. Every year we get better! The farm is jam-packed full of things to do. On admission, each child gets a bucket of animal feed - guard it carefully from the greedy goats! You are then able to roam ‘free-range’ through the animal enclosures and the outside play areas. You can choose to join scheduled free activities throughout the day, on a drop-in basis: Chat to a chick - usually at 20 minutes past the hour Egg collecting - follows the chick chat Sit on a pony - follows ... usually at about half past the hour Other activities: (check the board as these are weather dependent or seasonal) Tractor trailer ride, Bunnies in a basket, Birds of Prey display, Bottle feeding
