Bangor-on-Dee is a left handed jumps racecourse set in glorious countryside and overlooked by the Welsh Hills. The Racecourse's unique charm is amplifies by the fact that it is the only Racecourse in the country that doesn't have a grandstand.
The first steeplechase meeting took place at Bangor-on-Dee on 25th February 1859 over much of the same course as that on which the races are held today.
The Racecourse's beautiful rural setting and the nail-biting spectacle of jump racing are all key components to the Racecourses popularity. Add to the mix the amazing catering offered at Bangor-on-Dee: award winning Chefs, mouth watering menus, extensive wines and champagnes and first class service.
Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse also offer a unique in-house betting system called bangorBET.
