Being one of the UK’s major indoor climbing centres, Beacon Climbing Centre along with their CrazyClimb facility, I could not have done this Snowdonia Mountains & Coast Chapter without including them. This state of the art climbing facility is an outright leader in their field and whether you are an experienced climber or a total novice, the staff at Beacon are totally dedicated to making sure that you get absolutely everything out of your visit to them. The team of experienced instructors can be as hands on or hands off as you need them to be, with climbing walls of varying heights, you really do get to experience the highs and thrills of a mountain climb, but all indoors. Finally, one thing that I was impressed with, was the admission prices not being as high as I would have expected, in fact if you’re over 80, you pay nothing, now that’s value for money!
