Top 100 Attractions Review

Since I have been writing my Top 100 Attractions range of books I have visited a huge number of farm parks, and not all have made it into my Top 100 shortlist. The main reasons for this is because farm parks are either put together very well, and some not so, Blueberry Hill however is one that I really did like indeed. At Blueberry they have managed to work out that farm parks are not just amazing places for children, and with their introduction of an adult farm tour, everybody can leave with not only having value for money, but huge visitor experience can be gained also. With Bee demonstrations and lots more great things to see and do, a trip to Kerry isn't complete without a visit to Blueberry Hill. Finally, Sigi and Yvonne really have created something very special here, their kind of paradise I guess, see what you think!

Blueberry Hill Farm

Welcome to our Farm! Family Special: Unique hands on guided family farm visit, half day or short visit, experiencing the pleasures of farm-life as it used to be. Hand-milking, collecting eggs, making butter, feeding and caring for many different and cute animals and much more. Blueberry Hill Farm is an “Activity Farm”, inviting Visitors to fully guided Family Fun Farm Tours. Real hands on and close up hand feeding of all animals. Guests get to see and hold many different farm animals, big ones and very young ones. Sometimes we have freshly hatched chicks or ducklings. We also provide ECO-Tours and 1-3 day courses learning old or forgotten farm-related skills like home-dairy, bee-keeping, blacksmithing, wood-turning and many more. We will show you that a different life is possible. We want to give young and old a great time and a very close up experience of the farm-animals that are so extra tame and friendly. We also want to pass on some skills we developed over the years, and help you acquire yours. We want to help you find your love and path to nature.
