Bodelwyddan Castle & Park has far more to offer than the name suggests. Set in its own 260 acre parkland the Castle has got a wide variety of attributes that is appealing to all age groups. With a multi-dimensional approach the independent charitable trust set up to manage the property with the help of Denbighshire County Council has allowed a visit to the castle to be both educational and enjoyable, as I found to my delight on the day I visited. With a great little café serving a mouth-watering selection of savoury delights, cakes and pastries all at affordable prices, plenty of surprisingly free car parking and the audio tour being totally free, it all goes to make this attraction a great value day out for all the family.
