Top 100 Attractions Review

Don't be fooled by the name of this attraction, the Bowland Wild Boar Animal Park isn't just as it's name suggests, a park full of wild boar, quite to the contrary. With lambs, meerkats skunks and its daily chick stroking, just to name but a few, this animal park really does provide a full day of things to do and see. One of my favourite attractions at this Animal park was the New 'Iron Age' Round House and with this attraction still being a family run business, ran with families in mind, you'll not be disappointed with everything that is on offer here. Your visit here isn't just limited to one day either, with the addition of the new Glamping Pods, you can be on your very own mini safari, minus the lions and tigers obviously! All in all, the Bowland Wild Boar Animal Park offers nothing but smiles and I honestly cannot wait to return!

Bowland Wild Boar Park

Spot wild boar in the beautiful wooded countryside of Bowland Wild Boar Park. Roaming free and enjoying their open space are the wild boar of Chipping! At this family day out, children can meet and feed farm and non-native animals such as lambs, meerkats, skunks and racoons! There’s the chance to handle and stroke a baby chick and jump on a tractor ride on the weekends and in school holidays. Seeing as you’re in the countryside you might as well make the most of it and enjoy the riverside walk, taking in the sound of the water and the abundance of nature and wildlife all around you dressed in all its seasonal colours and why not stay over in one of the special camping pods built for four? No tent needed! A great spot for families to enjoy the animals and the great outdoors! Birthday parties - Café serves home-cooked food - Feed wild birds at designated feeding stations.
