Cardiff International White Water

Attraction

Cardiff International White Water

Whatever activity you’re looking for – from White Water Rafting to Indoor Wave and Air Trail, Cardiff International White Water (CIWW) has it covered.

Our white water course boasts variable flows so people of all abilities can enjoy the thrill of rafting, which is one of our most popular, sociable activities. Using an inflatable raft, you’ll work as a team to navigate the thrills and spills of the white water.

If bodyboarding is more your thing, try our adrenaline-pumping simulated surf machine. Suitable for complete beginners, as well as board sport enthusiasts, Indoor Wave gives visitors the chance to hit the waves in the city, regardless of the weather.

Or perhaps you’re an adventure-seeker but not a fan of getting wet? If so, Air Trail was made for you! Grab your harness and tackle obstacles such as Monkey Swing, Barrel Crawl and Zip Wire, while towering above the white water course.

All training and equipment is provided; age and height restrictions apply.

Author's Review

Ideally located close to the heart of the city, it’s no wonder CIWW is one of Europe’s leading white water centres. If you’re an experienced rafter or a novice kayaker, the centre has it all – White Water Rafting, Canoeing, River Boarding, Gorge Walking – just take your pick. What I was so impressed with is how versatile the facility is – whether you’re an Olympic athlete or a complete beginner on a stag party, you’ll be met with the same welcome and level of professionalism. If you’ve never tried anything like this before you really must give it a go! Ben and the team are always on hand to make sure you get the most out of your visit.
