The Hind’s Head Inn is located in the small hamlet of Welch Whittle and although it has been known by that name for the last 140 years or so it was originally called the Dicconson Arms in the early 1800’s and then the Welch Whittle Stock’s tavern in the mid-1800’s.

Executive Chef Kevin Bath a graduate from Paul Heathcotes School of Excellence has developed an extensive menu featuring produce by local butcher McRobb and other Lancashire suppliers where possible. Lunchtime and smaller portion dishes available include sea bass with creamy mashed potato and parsley sauce; slow cooked beef and onion pie; scampi basket plus many more tasty dishes.Evening dishes available include rump of lamb with pea mint mash and rosemary and thyme.
