When we selected all of our Top 100 Attractions, we had a lot of things to take into consideration, such as, value for money, disabled facilities, food outlets, visitor experience, just to name but a few. Not one of our attractions have paid an advertising fee to be selected, and each one is in here on merit. As far as tourist attractions in Wales are concerned, Cardiff’s are all very compact and certainly if you don’t have transport, still very easy to get to. Cardiff has millions of visitors a year on just weekend visits alone, without including people visiting as part of their holiday break. So as you can imagine,
accommodation at times can get very scarce. It’s always a good idea when planning to visit Cardiff to check your accommodation availability first, that way you don’t end up staying somewhere that
ordinarily wouldn’t suit you, or at worst end up disappointed that you didn’t get any accommodation at all. Having said all that, Cardiff now has twice the amount of hotels, guesthouses and other accommodation types that it did ten years ago, so you should be able to find something to suit both yourself and your pockets. I couldn’t get over how cosmopolitan Cardiff now is, and the people are so friendly and they genuinely love to have so many people visiting their great city every year. Whether it be rival rugby teams, people there for concerts or even if you are just visiting for the day, you will be very surprised how geared up the Cardiff people are to accommodate your every needs.
