Conwy Valley & Denbighshire
Most of the areas that we have featured within my book and website all stand alone, but then there’s some of the thirteen areas that are featured, we have merged together, as they are so great, they all simply need showing off. This particular section on in the book and website is one of those I am talking about. The huge area that makes up the Conwy Valley & Denbighshire region, spans from Prestatyn to Penmaenmawr and features some great little towns along the way. Take Llandudno for instance, once crowned the Queen of all Welsh holiday resorts this once great Victorian destination did, and still does, manage to pull in the crowds from far and wide. Speaking of pulling in the crowds from far and wide, leads me very nicely onto Conwy. This walled Bastion of a town, complete with its quaint fishing quay always seems to have visitors come rain or shine.
Then there is Rhyl, this end of the pier style holiday destination with its sandy beaches and amusement arcades, has them flocking from all over the Midlands and the Northwest primarily and a huge regeneration project is underway that is going to see this small seaside great once more. Not forgetting of course the unsung hero that is Llangollen. This small town, as far as I am concerned is the jewel in Denbighshire’s crown, a town that can still manage to pull in the crowds most weekends in the winter, has to be applauded. So you see, you cannot fail to be hugely spoilt for choice in this area. Not only has it got some great attractions to visit, but the locations themselves truly are attractions in their own right! So, no matter what you chose to do, don’t forget to take this book with you!
