Airfield Estate is a working farm occupying a 38-acre estate in Dublin. This testament to self-sustaining living is built by a variety of experts contributing to a trust that began as a legacy left by two sisters in 1974. Airfield is a dedicated to best farming practice, and seeks not only to nourish the community with its example of a sustainable vision, but to share this information with the public in a meaningful way. There are activities on at the farm for the whole family to enjoy, as well as education programs around their methodology. Experts in their fields are on hand to answer your questions, after which you can enjoy a meal from the award-winning Overends Kitchen – named for the founders of this remarkable gift – or a hot cup of something and a picnic from The Stables Café.
