The American Museum in Britain was one of those attractions that took me totally by surprise. Being a huge fan of the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh, Northern Ireland, I was thinking that I had seen it all. The American Museum in Britain really is one of Baths hidden gems when it comes to tourist attractions. Taking you perfectly through the history of America, the museum has an amazing collection of textiles that really did play a huge part in America in those early years of settlement. Founded in the early sixties by two very experienced antique collectors, the museum has grown from strength to strength. With so many things to see, you could either spend a few hours here or maybe even make it a full day especially if your planning on having lunch on the lawn. A true Top 100 Attraction is what you'll find here!
