Attraction in Anglesey

Anglesey Riding Centre

Situated alongside the beautiful Menai Straits of Anglesey and with panoramic views of Caernarfon Castle and the Snowdonia mountain range beyond, Anglesey Riding Centre offers a picturesque horse riding experience of a lifetime. For both a safe introduction to riding and a suitably challenging ride for the more experienced, their 5 miles of private bridleways have everything to offer for all abilities. In addition to the outdoor experience, an indoor riding school on the property is the perfect environment in which to hone your skills and ready you to tackle whichever challenge you may set your sights on, whatever the weather. Anglesey Riding Centre is fully approved by the British Horse Society (BHS) and by the Pony Club as a Pony Club Riding Centre. It is also a BHS approved Livery Yard and the home base for the Anglesey Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).

Author's Review

One of the world’s most well-loved, serving animals is the horse. Whether enduring ancient battles or farming our great lands, this awesome creature has been one of humanity’s most trusted animals. At the Anglesey Riding Centre, you can experience this noble creature for yourself by spending some quality time with one of their many horses. The centre has its own network of beautiful bridleways and, coupled with the stunning beaches in this part of the world, makes for a visit which will most certainly not disappoint. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned rider, the staff at the Anglesey Riding Centre can tailor your riding experience depending on your level of confidence. They also have what they call their ‘unicorns’ group which is especially designed for children between the ages of 4 and 7 years old; ensuring a gentle introduction and confidence-building treat.
