Anglesey Sea Zoo is impressive. Step into a magical world and discover this Sea wonderland. Boasting 40 tanks, enjoy the very best of British marine wildlife. Expect some unusual creatures and an array of incredible visuals. You might see an octopus, seahorses, conger eels, or even British catsharks amongst other species. It is as fun as it is educational. Learn about their marine habitats and about all the work being carried out to help save them. It is incredibly important to bring that awareness to everyone and there are many programmes for everyone to enjoy. The British seahorse breeding programme is a great example to show what is being done here. One of the most fascinating zones is the 'No bone Zone', where you will come across the wolf fish lair, a kelp forest full of massive fish and a very mysterious shipwreck. *
The Anglesey Sea Zoo has become the very fabric of what Anglesey is all about. Owned and run by Frankie Hobro, the Sea Zoo isn’t just a local attraction; it has become an important conservation centre that has Britain’s diverse sea life as its main focus. Every time we visit the Sea Zoo, there is something new to find that we haven’t spotted before. The staff is so very knowledgeable and approachable - always going out of their way to answer any questions you may have. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Now this is what we call a Top 100 Attraction! The Sea Zoo’s main months are of course seasonal, but their work is endless. This incredible dedication is so apparent as you make your way around the centre. We love this little attraction and know you will, too!
