Our Accommodation

The Ashford Arms offers good quality yet reasonably priced Bed and Breakfast accommodation close to Bakewell, in the centre of the Peak District.We have eight bedrooms each with en-suite bath or shower, washbasin and WC, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and radios. 6 Doubles of which 2 are four poster beds and two twinned rooms.
Since this a 200-year old building, each room is quite distinctive and many have exposed beams and stonework, while the building itself has many charming nooks and crannies.

The Ashford Arms offers bar meals and a restaurant close to Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District.
Eating out at the Ashford Arms is a treat - we have a varied menu using local, fresh produce.Chef Robert Muxlow gained his reputation at the Tavern and Merlins in Matlock and maintains a warm country pub atmosphere, while creating quality, fresh food.
Since his award-winning Sunday lunch at the Tavern in Tansley in 2002, Robert has never looked back. He is well known for catering to everyone's palate - from a homemade, tasty pie to a mouthwatering 'a la carte' dish.
We offer theme nights throughout the week , including steak nights featuring Robert's famous 'sizzling sauces'.You can eat in the bar or we have a restaurant in a conservatory area which can host banquets and larger parties - please enquire for further details.
