Review

Visiting this hotel was not only a pleasure, but a real privilege! From the outside, this hotel is a typical Georgian Irish building, with all the architectural trappings that come with that type of building and once inside, traditional meets contemporary. You’ll find out more about the hotel's food excellence in the Hotels ‘Food for Thought’ endorsement in a few pages, but let me tell you how fantastic the rooms are. No expense has been spared when it came to furnishing these rooms. The owner Dermot Delaney really has a keen eye when it comes to decor, believe me when I say he has thought of everything. The Hotel has 20 rooms, all of which not only offer a great night's sleep, but all have under floor heating, cozy and fluffy bathrobes and believe me when I say, this place gives even the Cashel Palace a run for its money!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

This family run Hotel in the heart of Cashel, really is the beating heart of the town. Yes ok, you have the pomp and circumstance of the Cashel Palace across the road, but realistically, Baileys Hotel & Restaurant is a place where all feel completely welcome. The food here is ‘Top Notch’ and the chef and her team really do care about the food coming out of their kitchen. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner that has you dining, you’ll not be disappointed and with their open planned kitchen, you can see the magic happening before your very eyes. Restaurant 42 is the hotel's main restaurant and with its modern feel, you could be eating in any restaurant around the world. Not only that, but with the kitchen team being as good as they are, you’ll be hard pushed not to find something you like on this locally sourced menu.
