Despite an absence of Superman outfits - Balloo House serves heroic, fearless food that has lionhearted flavours, but served with simple confidence and expertise. Showcasing all that is best about Northern Ireland ingredients - there are two alternative dining options at Balloo, the downstairs Bistro has an extensive menu, which also includes a daily specials board. The only pub in Northern Ireland to be awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand: Balloo House also features Overwood, a fine-dining restaurant upstairs. Specialising in the very best of local produce: in particular seafood from Strangford Lough celebrity chef James Martin has described the Loughs’ generously proportioned langoustines as “among the world's best.” So why not sweep your heart throb right off their feet, with a heroic dinner for two?
