Accommodation

Review

Anne and John are certainly no strangers to the hospitality industry and after doing this job for almost four decades, they clearly still love welcoming people into their home. Sitting in their newly constructed conservatory, it is obvious just how passionate both John and Anne are about tourism. One would think that people who have been running a bed and breakfast as long as they have, would start to show signs of tiring, but not Anne and John. Their rooms are perfectly furnished, no expense has been spared or corners cut and your visitor experience is clearly most important to them. Most reviews about Balmillig tend to elaborate on how great the breakfast is, and so they should. The food is all locally sourced and cooked with care. All in all you will thoroughly enjoy your stay here and we cannot recommend Balmillig enough.

A trip into a bygone era is what you can expect when visiting the Upper Crust restaurant. Its owners Mary & Roger, along with Mary's sister Kate, really have put their heart and soul into this restaurant.
