Bantry House & Garden
Admire an exclusive Art collection like no other. Having privately been collected by the 2nd Earl of Bantry on his grand Tour (who previously lived here), you are in for an incredible treat. Ideally nestled in a stunning area of West Cork, this fascinating house is still owned by the direct descendants of the1st Earl of Bantry. Having first opened its doors to the public in 1946, worldwide visitors love visiting this extraordinary venue. Both the House and Garden are worth visiting and they are open from April to October. You can also listen to some introductions on the interesting past of this location at 11am and 2 pm daily. Depending on when you are planning to be in the area, there are some fantastic events organised during the year. With music festivals, product launches, outdoor theatre and much more taking place here, there is always something going on. It is also a renowned location for Tv and film sets.
