Beacon Alpacas
Attraction in North Yorkshire
Author's Review
There is something about being around an Alpaca that just makes you smile. It is impossible to be grumpy in the company of an Alpaca, and the same can be said for the dynamic woman who owns and runs Beacon Alpacas. Jacki is a bit of a celebrity in her own right, having made several appearances on “The Yorkshire Vet”. Her charisma is contagious, as is her love for these adorable animals. You can book walks with the Alpacas, including the family, to get to know these interesting creatures. Alpaca fleece is hypo-allergenic for people who have and allergy to lanolin and prickly wool. One can purchase or gift Alpaca duvets from the Beacon Alpaca website, as well as fabulous cosy walking socks. If you can’t get to the farm to enjoy the experience but would like to be part of it, it is also possible to ‘Adopt and Alpaca’. A must-visit attraction to enjoy the wonderful Yorkshire countryside and views in an unusual way.
