Bounce Below

Bounce BelowBounce Below

Bounce Below is the first facility of its kind in the world, located at the Zip World Titan site near Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales.

Hidden underground in a 176-year old disused cavern, that is twice the size of St Paul's Cathedral, you will find this subterranean playground, installed with huge ‘bouncy nets'!

These trampoline like nets are hung within two vast chambers at different levels, the highest being 180 feet up from the bottom of the cavern, linked together by walkways and slides ‘Bouncers' need to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled booking time to allow enough time for registration and kit up before taking the old mining train underground. The train journey into the cavern takes approximately 5 minutes, where you disembark into the belly of the cavern, nestled 100 feet below the surface of the Earth. The walls of Bounce Below are covered with technicolored lights revealing the beauty of the underground cavern and add to the already unique experience. The activity lasts approximately 1 hour, where you are free to bounce, climb and slide.

The best thing is Bounce Below is open all year round!

Author's Review

I have to say that in the years whilst putting together these books, I've travelled to, taken part of, and experienced a wide range of attractions. I have to say and I know it's a huge statement to make, Bounce Below has to be the most quirkiest, yet cleverest attractions that I've ever witnessed. The attraction itself has even turned heads as far away as the United States of America, where people are flocking over to experience this very clever attraction. Founder and brain child of Bounce Below, Sean Taylor and his very intelligent team, have totally brought these disused slate caverns back to life, and for that, I personally feel he should be knighted for his services to tourism. Bounce Below offers fun for all ages no matter the weather outside, and this extremely intelligent venture, has value for money, visitor experience, just to name but a couple of the qualities needed in being a Top 100 Attraction.
