Built in 1888 as the family home of the Sheriff of Denbigh, this fascinating courtyard house nestles in the wooded slopes of the Berwyns on the edge of Corwen between Betws-y-Coed, Llangollen, and Bala (see our panoramic view of the location).
Bron-y-Graig now offers hotel bed and breakfast, and a luxury holiday cottage, with special facilities for groups.
The 19th century splendour of our William Morris décor is complemented by 21st century services and 100% attention to our guests' comfort. Many visitors return year after year to enjoy our old house's relaxing welcome, to sample exciting local outdoor activities, or to simply enjoy the natural beauty of North Wales.

All rooms have a hairdryer, tea & coffee tray, mini fridge and a selection of books and games. Most bedrooms have luxurious sofa, superb views of woods or river, and some have room for additional child beds. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with bath, shower, toiletries and towels.
Bron-y-Graig has a residents' licence: relax with a drink in your room, in the Drawing Room, on the Terrace or in the Quarry Garden.
Children are especially welcome at Bron-y-Graig. Our largest rooms can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (up to age 14), and children can have their own room for a reduced rate. We have cots and a high chair, family games and children's toys.

Review

“ Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful” ((William Morris)
Steeped in history, and situated amongst an elegant terraced garden, leafy woodland and glistening silvery stream, stands the handsome, Victorian ‘Bron-y-Graig’ Bed and Breakfast. This glorious 9 bedroomed building set in the outstanding beauty of the Dee Valley, has all the modern fixtures and fittings we all need in our daily lives beautifully balanced with Pre-Raphaelite decor, dramatic, sublime and unmistakably William Morris. With panoramic views of the glossy green hills of Corwen, the rooms are spacious, immaculate and perfectly quiet. A freshly cooked Full Welsh breakfast will set you up for the day. This Bed and Breakfast is certainly one of Wales’ most precious jewels.
