Bryngarw House and Country Park

Attractions

Are you ready for a fun and memorable adventure in Bryngarw Country Park? Within these grounds, there is so much that visitors can take a part in. From a range of incredible courses and events to excellent guided tours, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The team is very friendly and welcomes worldwide visitors with open arms. Be at one with nature and discover wildlife like never before. It is ever so fascinating and fun at the same time. Curious about how the native plants and trees are being used in a traditional manner? You will get to learn about all of that and much more. The origins of their seasonal festivals is an extraordinary story too. For some added fun, visitors get to try out many of the traditional customs and crafts themselves. The most loved way to visit these incredible sites is to follow the Keepers quest. The initial goal is to find the Keepers in the meadow, garden, woodland or river. Visitors should collect a map and star talisman from the Tea room. Cedars Tea room is ever so charming. They are known as ‘the ancient guardians of the story of the land’. The talisman has magical powers and can ‘awaken’ each keeper. So why not give it a go yourself and hear about even more incredible stories on Bryngarw's wildlife and landscape?

Review

One of the main reasons I decided to write my Top 100 Attractions range of books, was not because of the large number of huge attractions in the world, but more as a consequence of how many hidden gem attractions there are! Bryngarw House & Country Park are a fine example of that previous statement. One hundred and thirteen acres of amazing parkland and gardens is what awaits you here at this attraction, and the team of rangers, in fact all of the team at Bryngarw have dedication oozing from every pore as they are clearly passionate about every single acre. Another great feature at Bryngarw is the ‘Keepers' audio trail. A lot of work has gone into the keepers story and located around the whole of the park these keepers will take you on a journey of discovery that show you just how important nature and human beings are completely at one with each other, or at least should be!
