Burton Court is a family run enterprise that offers a truly unique location for a wedding, a private or corporate party, a conference, a product launch or film work.
A 14th Century Manor House steeped in history and available to hire for weddings, corporate entertaining, guided tours, private hire, product launches, tv & film location work and Murder Mystery nights.
Lt. Cdr. & Mrs. Robert Simpson and family extend to all visitors a very warm welcome.
Burton Court has been used for private entertaining for 600 years. This historic property always offers a splendid meeting place for social groups in a hospitable and comfortable environment.
The house and grounds provides an historical ambience for all types of special occasions. In the past we have hosted birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, christening receptions, dinner and dances, lavish Black Tie Balls and Murder Mystery Nights.

The Simpson Family are the proud owners of this historic home and have been opening its doors to the public for decades. The tour around this beautiful home is both a charming yet educational tour, and at every turn there is something different to focus your eye on and with 900 years of history, Burton Court has many a funny story tell. What I loved so much about my tour was I wasn't being shown around the house by any old tour guide but actually by one of the owners Mr Edward Simpson, this adds to the gravity of your tour and makes it all the more real. Because the house is very old, and also some of the time a location shoot for TV and film, coupled with the fact that there is so much to see, it is very important to book a tour in advance to save disappointment.
