This exceptional guesthouse is situated in the pretty village of Burton Leonard in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Everything about Callender House has been considered to the last luxurious detail. The gardens are immaculate and create the perfect setting to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea, and the oven-fresh cakes that the owner, Carol, bakes daily. Visitors are welcomed with the same freshly baked hospitality into an experience that can only be described as perfection. Carol and Keith clearly run this establishment with warmth, passion, and meticulous attention to cleanliness and superb taste. Both of the en-suite rooms on offer spare no cost on comfort, with a wonderful balance of stylish antique furnishings and modern finishes. This is echoed throughout the sitting and dining areas. The breakfast menu is nothing short of a sumptuous feast. Callender House is a cut above the rest.
