Cariad is the Welsh word for “love,”and it’s a sure thing that after just one sip of the wonderful Welsh, small batch craft Cariad Gin; you’ll be head over heels for its delicious taste! Inspired by the countryside, and the natural botanical produce of the Clwydian Range that overlooks the home of this family business in Lixwm, Flintshire. Husband and wife team: Fiona and Simon, along with their three children, have brought their dreams to fruition. Bottling locally sourced fruits, along with the mysterious, magical beauty of the Clwydian Range, has been a dream come true for not just the family, but for all who support them; to bring a taste of the Welsh landscape to customers, and with it a special spotlight to shine on the Welsh language. Beautifully placed on Halkyn Mountain, in north-east Wales; Cariad Gin includes a soft, sweet marmalade and bay leaf gin, an adventurous piquant blackcurrant gin, and other great choices too. There is also a delightful back story involving the company’s logo; which is the tortoise - intrigued?
