Crown, Lixwm
Review
“ The Cook brings Soul to the recipe” T. Keller.
Crown, Lixwm built in the 17th Century is a feast for the eyes and the tummy, having flourished in the highly skilled and experienced hands of owner and Chef, Tony Griffiths. Very much a family effort with Tony’s daughter in charge of the front of house, this picture perfect country pub just gets better and better. Abundant with charming character, you feel instantly at ease, and at home.
Highly recommended, the flavorsome food is all locally sourced and cooked perfectly and served piping hot to the lucky diner. A tummy rumbling menu includes the now celebrated ‘Patchwork Pate’, and how does ‘Unicorn Beer Battered Cod’ sound! Cask ales served include Unicorn Ale, from Robinson Brewery, Trooper, also draught lagers plus a great range of wines and spirits.
