Review

The West coast of Ireland is a very special place indeed. But once there, it's accessibility is quite limited, this actually adds to its charm, but there is one company that for decades, has made that accessibility within County Clare that bit easier by the inclusion of a ferry service to the Aran Islands. Started purely by chance one day with a farmer and his rowing boat, has turned into a much needed and respected daily service. The O'Brien line is one of those special success stories that goes to prove that luck isn't just at the end of the rainbow. It takes hard work, belief and a sprinkle of Irish humour to build a business such as the O'Brien Line. This is a family run business and one of the things I liked so much about it was that they don't set out to rip people off.
