Farmer Parrs Animal World
A fab-ewe-lous animal farm with a museum, cafe & gift shop. Plus outdoor play areas, indoor picnic/bouncy castle barn & indoor animal barns too. So there’s plenty to do come rain or shine! Take a trip down ‘Memory Lane’ in the large and eclectic ‘Fylde Country Life Museum’. Or take a wander around the extensive paddocks, ponds and walkways – if ewe fancy a stroll. We also have ‘The Pottery Studio’ based here. It is run by the charity ‘Autism Initiatives’ and ewe can ‘Paint-a-Pot’ with help from their students – ewe’ll just love it! Daily events include farm tours, animal shows, tractor rides, pony rides & grooming, egg collecting, animal feeding & petting. Visit in December and meet ‘The Real Santa’ in his fab-ewe-lous log cabin and feed Rudolph through the window too. I consider myself very fortunate to have a job that allows me to visit some of the United Kingdom and Irelands biggest and brightest attractions, I reminded myself of that fact when I visited the hidden gem that is 'Farmer Parrs' animal world here in Fleetwood. With more animals and rare breeds that I have ever seen in a farm park, this attraction doesn't disappoint. Then there is the museum and Heritage Centre, which turns this site into an attraction within an attraction. With over 26 major exhibits, this museum has something to offer anyone and no matter at what age. The name Farmer Parr isn't just a gimmick name, there really is a 'Farmer Parr' and he can be regularly seen around the site, whether it be on stage at the animal show, or in the being soaked in the stocks!
