Situated just outside the quiet rural village of Pucklechurch, just 15 mins from Bath and Bristol, Fern Cottage is an Award winning bed and breakfast run by its passionate proprietors, Sue and Pete.

Set within a conservation area Fern Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside designated a conservation area between Bath and Bristol nestling within a 2 acre smallholding with the added benefit of being an easy 15 minutes from the centres of both Bath and Bristol. Lansdown Park and Ride is only a short journey from Fern Cottage and we are also very close to the Bristol Park and Ride.

We have received 20 Awards for our food, service and hospitality, the latest one being from VisitEngland Excellence Awards on Monday 20th May 2013, where we receivedHighly Commended in the Bed and Breakfast category. We are very proud to be one of the top 5 bed and breakfast businesses in England.

We are passionate about everything we do at Fern Cottage, whether it's customer service, hospitality or the delicious organic, free range, local, home made food we prepare on our unique and extensive breakfast menu (see FOOD page).

Good food is a passion at Fern Cottage, and guests can enjoy our unique and exceptional quality breakfast, using local, home grown, home-made and organic produce. The Fern Cottage breakfast menu was complimented on by top Chefs Gary Rhodes and Michael Caines on the UKTV programme Local Food Heroes, on which proprietor Sue was among the five finalists for the whole of the South West.

There are 4 ground floor double en-suite rooms (two with king size beds) and all having their own separate entrance doors, enjoying panoramic countryside views. This beautiful accommodation reflects the high standard of quality, attention to detail and offers affordable luxury, complemented by excellent food and service. Guests arriving at 4pm are offered a complimentary home-made cream tea on arrival. Sue's freshly made chocolate cookies also await you in your room.

For those wishing to enjoy a leisurely break, Fern Cottage is in an ideal base from which to explore Bristol, Bath, Lacock, Castle Combe, Tyntesfield, Dyrham Park, Longleat Stonehenge, Cheddar and the Cotswolds.
