Giat Y Fferm - The Farm Gate
Review
“But love is its masonry, shared aspirations are its timber, and shared commitment is what raised it up.” R. Williams Parry.
They say that when you love your job, it ceases to be work, it’s a vocation, and this is how Gordon and Karen see their flourishing family business. Built by love and dedication, the story of how this dedicated couple created their own farm food business is awe-inspiring. Giat y Fferm, (The Farm Gate), started with an abundance of delicious freshly laid eggs and an honesty box. Due to the lack of produce during Covid, the eggs were much needed by locals, and so from a small acorn of an idea: a mighty oak has spread into a cornucopia of jewel bright, glorious fresh produce which includes salad, fruit and vegetables grown locally in the sublime Llyn Peninsula. Buy fragrant, flavoursome produce, either at the shop or online.
