Winner of the Scottish Romantic Hotel of the year award, the Glenisle Hotel is a perfect base to stay whilst your are busy exploring this amazing island. As I was being shown around the hotel, complete with its historic walls, I couldn’t believe how beautiful the rooms were and this is no exaggeration, no expense has been spared here and the owners, along with their operations manager Jasmine, they constantly review the rooms to see where they can improve on the visitors experience at the hotel, almost as if luxury comes as standard here. I was constantly looking for something I could criticise, but I found absolutely nothing and when checking their reviews, so many people comment on how great their breakfast is and so, I really don’t think your going to be disappointed during your stay at one of the islands premier hotels! Oh! their coffee is great too!

Restaurant

This doesn’t always happen, but when I am stuck between whether to feature a hotel for its rooms or for its restaurant, I take the decision to feature both, as its my job to provide you with the very best of what a region has to offer. So, no matter what you're looking for food wise, the Glenisle can cater for everyone, they even have a dedicated vegan menu, now that should tell you all you need to know about how much this hotel cares about its visitors, as preparing vegan food means two prepping areas within the same kitchen, quite a tall order. Eating at the Glenisle is fine dining without all the pretentiousness and as they use completely fresh and where possible, local produce, I know for a fact your going to love the food here! So, whether your staying in the hotel, or just passing by, your treated just the same.
