Ordinarily, a business like Glentress Forest Lodges would be featured as one of my ‘Sleep Tights’ in the accommodation section of this chapter. However, because of its stunning location, close proximity to the Go Ape and the popular Forest Park and because of the highest quality of the lodges that they have here, I decided to feature them as an attraction with our coveted ‘Family Fun’ Hidden Gem award attached to them. I think it also worth mentioning, that at the time of going to print, anyone who stays here at the Lodges, they receive a whopping 10% off the normal Go Ape price, now that’s worth having! Having met the owner Ian and getting a guided tour, I saw first hand that he is very passionate about his site and one thing is for sure, he works hard to make your accommodation experience, is one not to be forgotten.
