Go Ape-Grizedale

Attractions

Our Grizedale tree top adventure (the jewel in our crown) has always proved a popular day out. Built on a side of a hill, it feels seriously high. And that's because it is.

You'll fly 200 metres across the top of the Grizedale Beck and marvel at the forest canopy 18 metres up a magnificent Douglas Fir.

You and your tribe can expect the ultimate adventure at

Grizedale.

Review

A trip to the Lake District is always something I look forward to, but to be able to visit some of the best attractions in the area is just a bonus. Cumbria has so much to offer tourists no matter what their persuasion. But for the fraternity of thrill activity seeking tourists, Go Ape's Flagship site at Grizedale certainly needs putting on the itinerary. What I personally liked about this site was the location being on the side of a hill, gives it that extra thrill factor. This site is immense and rather than visit this site for just the morning or the afternoon, I would suggest making a weekend of it. With more than enough first class accommodation locally, you could do the course one day and do a bit of biking or walking the next? But whatever you decide, one thing I can guarantee, is you won't want to go home.
