Review

There are so many things to do and see here in Devon, that it can be almost too hard to decide. But here in the famous fishing village of Brixham stands a replica of one of the worlds most famous ships and coupled with its great team on board, is every reason why you can’t visit the Torbay area without stepping aboard this piece of maritime history. On the day I visited and after handing over a few pieces of eight, I stepped aboard this fine replica and after being greeted by one of the crew, I made my way around and I have to say I loved every minute. The Golden Hind Museum Ship offers not only great value for money, but a huge insight into what life would of been like aboard a ship of this class and the team really do go out of their way to tell the story in a humorous, yet educational way.
