Gregynog
Review
“He sets the jewel-print of your feet, in violets blue as your eyes, to the woody hollows in which we meet, and the valleys of Paradise.” Tennyson.
The stately mansion of Gregynog Hall offers visitors a little taste of Paradise, and luxury accommodation: set within 750 acres of formal gardens, parkland, and woodland with parts of the garden dating back to the 16th Century. Gregynog is one of the most important historic landscapes in Wales, and the Hall itself is where formal gardens, fountains, bridges and an abundance of azaleas and rhododendrons flourish. Situated in the village of Tregynon, in Powys, Mid Wales, en-suite rooms are lavishly decorated and fitted with modern amenities, when you spend a night or two beneath these extraordinarily interesting eaves, it really does create an unforgettable and very special experience.
