Hawkshead Brewery Tours

We run scheduled tours of the brewery every day at 1pm allowing you to enjoy lunch in The Beer Hall before or after your tour should you wish. We can also arrange tours for groups of 10-20 at other times (Monday – Friday during The Beer Hall opening hours) by prior arrangement. The cost of a brewery tour is £10.00 per person and includes either a pint or two halves at the end of the tour. The tour includes a short film and lasts around 45 minutes. We now allow children on our tours - All under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult on a one to one basis. 9 and under free, 10-17 - £6 including any soft drink. To pre-book a place on a scheduled tour or to enquire about booking a group tour please call 01539 825260, email or submit an enquiry.

Author's Review

Since the turn of this century, the Hawkshead Brewery has been turning the heads of beer lovers from all over the world. Just exactly how they have achieved this can be uncovered during one of their brewery tours. At the time of writing this review, the brewery tours are at 1pm every afternoon, but always best to check they’re website for the up to date running time. The how and the why’s are all available on the tour and all at a very affordable price, which also includes a pint at the end, or a soft drink for people like myself that are non-drinkers. I also think it’s worth noting, that Hawkshead Brewery have a small bar downstairs and one that also serves food, so with the tours running at 1pm, this gives you a perfect chance for lunch before you go on your tour, or after depending on how late your breakfast was.
