Review

Standing in the car park of this historic golf club, it’s difficult to believe that Helensburgh Golf Club is only a hop, skip and a jump from Glasgow; Scotland’s biggest city. The course itself is without doubt a challenging one, which is one of the many reasons for it being so popular. People travel from far and wide with their 3 woods and 9 irons to play on the course with magnificent views of the Clyde Estuary. However it’s not only a good round of golf that is attracting people. The restaurant offers excellent food, reasonably priced beverages and a great atmosphere. There is no doubt that you will be very impressed by Helensburgh’s 19th hole. Built in 1893, it is easy to see why this area was chosen to situate this fantastic golf club.
