Hutts Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park in Ripon, North Yorkshire, can only be described as a place of exquisite beauty. The pervasive sense of peace and seclusion lends itself to quietude and reflection in serene surroundings along the woodland and lakes. In addition, more than 80 sculptures adorn the park where there is a Viking hut, a pagoda, and a summerhouse where you can rest. The arboretum, with its astonishing array of trees, is a must to visit. In the Easter and summer holidays the children will enjoy the storytelling and walk designed especially for them, and adults could do courses in botanical drawing and poppy sculpture. Finally, after a full day, retire to the tearoom for a cream tea or lunch. You are assured of an altogether satisfying day!
