EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
Review
This gem can be found in the extraordinary vaults of the Custom House Quarter building (CHQ) in Dublin’s Docklands; one of the most historic locations in Dublin. You will understand immediately why this museum was the back-to-back winner of Europe's Leading Tourist Attraction at the World Travel Awards in 2019 and 2020. Through an immersive experience, you will learn about the rich history of Irish emigrants and their stories in becoming scientists, poets and politicians. A visit to the EPIC will really give guests an understanding of the Irish heritage through their engaging exhibitions and impressive themed galleries. They have a lovely gift shop and a few lovely choices of cafés and restaurants, as well as seating areas for those with packed lunches. They are wheelchair friendly with accessibility all around the museum.
