Kilnsey Park Estate is one of the brightest of North West Yorkshire’s many hidden gems. Located within the pretty Upper Wharfedale valley, Kilnsey has a huge range of activities on offer to all of its visitors, but one of its biggest attractions is its fishery and if you’re a keen fishing enthusiast, Kilnsey’s two spring-fed, well stocked lakes are open all year round. For those people who are just learning how to fish, the Estate also has a relaxed fun fishing pond where you can experience the thrill of catching your first fish. The Estate is also a beacon of sustainability, generating all its own power from water. The unique ‘pink’ fish and chips served in the café, made with freshly caught rainbow trout, are much-loved. Having been family run for well over a hundred years now, Kilnsey Park Estate prides itself on being an ideal location for families to come and just do what families should be doing, namely to enjoy precious time together in the great outdoors.
