Kirkmichael Arms
Dorothy & Andrew extend a warm welcome to you at the Kirkmichael Arms. Following an extensive refurbishment programme the Kirkmichael Arms was reopened on the 22nd March 2012 much to the joy of the locals who had been without their pub for approximately 5 years. The public bar still maintains its “pub in the country” look with slate flooring & wood burning stove & fireplace as its centre piece. The restaurant area has been increased in size & opened up whilst still managing to keep a warm friendly atmosphere & traditional character, serving good food 7 days a week. The kitchen has been increased in size & completely reequipped allowing us to employ 3 chefs under the leadership of head chef Ewan McAllister.
