Little Wold Vineyard is nestled in the Yorkshire Wolds just above the small town of South Cave. They offer tours around the vineyards, the most delectable wines, a gorgeous tasting room, and an exclusive wedding venue with magnificent views all the way to the River Humber. The first batch of vines were planted by hand in the Spring of 2012, and by 2014 they had their first blend with Ryevale Vineyards. Little Wold’s first original wines were produced in 2015; award-winning ‘Barley Hill White’ and ‘Poppy Hill Rose’, as well as their first sparkling wine ‘Henry’s Harvest’ and ‘Heathers’. Although the first five years were very slow, their wine varieties have been very well received by the public. In 2017, they saw their first red wine ‘Three Cocked Hat’ come to life, and another 6000 vines were planted in 2018, adding more varieties and doubling their harvesting tonnage.
