Loch Ken Eco Bothies are situated in the heart of southwest Scotland on the shores of Loch Ken. They are beautifully equipped and well-furnished each with their own log burning hot tub and dedicated kayak to enjoy your very own wilderness trip on Loch Ken. Sit back after a day out on the water or sampling the activities in the area and enjoy a glass of wine whilst relaxing in perfect peace overlooking the shores of Loch Ken. The Red Squirrel sleeps up to 3 (or 4 at a push, we can provide a camping bed). It has one double bedroom and a single sofa bed in the open plan lounge area (two kids can squeeze on). It comes fully equipped with linen (400 thread Egyptian cotton), crockery, and your own private wood fired hot tub and decking. The Otter is our brand new off grid Eco Bothy. Sitting in its own secluded part of our grounds it commands stunning views across Loch Ken and comes with its own hot tub, decking and steps down to its own private lochan. It sleeps two and is beautifully furnished; equipped with everything you require for a luxurious romantic get away. The Red Kite is the larger of our two bothies and sleeps up to 6. It has one double bedroom, a twin room and a double sofa bed in the open plan lounge area.

Loch Ken has a huge amount of accommodation and all of a very high standard, I know this as I’ve been shown around them all however and firstly, let me tell you about the Eco Bothies. Complete with luxurious ‘Hot Tubs’ these off the grid Eco Pods are just absolutely stunning! Red Kite & Squirrel, along with Otter are the names of these forward thinking retreats and furnished to as high as standard as can be with Eco Pods, you most certainly won’t have a bad night's sleep and that’s a fact! Then along with these three, you have the Yurts, the bunkhouse, Lochside cabins, a safari tent and a couple of Glamping domes, so as you can see, Loch Ken really has put the E back into Eco with their accommodation and I guarantee you’ll be saying the word ‘Wow’ all the way back home, I know I was!
