Loch Lomond Pony Trekking
Our experienced ride leaders will take you on a leisurely trek through the tranquil countryside onto the more rugged terrain of the surrounding moorland that overlooks the national park, on our sure footed and well-mannered ponies. Emphasis is certainly placed on enjoying the splendour of overlooking one of the most impressive and iconic views in Scotland whilst on horseback. Rest assured, you’ll experience unforgettable views of the landscape of Loch Lomond, whatever the season. We cater for individuals and small groups and can accommodate riders of all abilities from complete novices to the more experienced rider and we would love to share this experience with you.
Ever wondered what it would be like to learn how to shoot, have you been fooled into thinking that it’s an elitist men’s sport, or an expensive sport at that? If you can answer yes to any of those two points, no trip to Scotland is complete without visiting the Loch Lomond Shooting School. For decades now, Ian Tyrrell has been running his Shooting School and has been dispelling the previously mentioned myths to all of his visitors for years. Along with a well thought out ‘Clay Target Shooting’ Course, Archery and Air rifle shooting course, there is something for everyone here and just when you thought that was it, Ian’s highly experienced daughter, also runs her own well established Trekking centre on the same site. With high end vehicles and only the best equipment, Loch Lomonds Shooting School isn’t just unrivalled within this area, but throughout wider Scotland.
