Farmer Ray and his partner Val love welcoming families and school groups keen to find out more about the countryside to their 600 acre beef and arable farm in Staffordshire. They share their passion for conservation and encouraging wild flora and fauna to make the farm their home. They are continually developing new habitats and attractions, and running a year-round programme of events, activities and educational visits. Whether you’re simply looking for a day out in the great British countryside or a venue for your child’s birthday party, Lower Drayton Farm has lots to offer. Location-wise, whilst lying just a few minutes from J13 of the M6, at Lower Drayton Farm you can immerse yourself in the countryside and forget how close you are to great transport links; making it a popular venue for groups from different areas to meet for a great day out! The farm is home to much more than the fun farm attraction – we’ve a host of tenants offering different outdoor pursuits and activities, offer homely farmhouse B&B and self catering accommodation and can also provide a venue for corporate events, private parties & weddings.

Working on a farm isn’t just a walk in the park and some people seem to have this misconception that all farmers are living in the land of milk and honey, well believe me, they’re not and this couldn’t be more true than here at Lower Drayton Farm Park. Here at this farm park they work hard not only on the farm, but to also portray to their visitors just what life on a farm is all about. With an array of animals to see and get close to, along with their tractor trailer ride, a rustic day of farming is on offer here and the admission fee is more than reasonable. They also have lot of different events happening on the farm and so it’s always worth checking on their website to see what they are. With lots of new changes afoot here at Lower Drayton, I can see that I am in for a surprise when I visit next.
