NEW FOR 2014! Many people travel to Dorset every year to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Jurassic Coast so why not make the most of your stay by exploring from the sea? Privately charter a skippered RIB (rigid inflatable boat) for a couple of hours or even a whole day if you wish and cruise along the coastline taking it all in. Why not drop anchor in one of the secluded bays for a swim in the same waters Hardy wrote of, or stop off at Durdle Door for a spot of lunch, the choice is yours? For thrill seekers you could choose to blast across to see the Olympic Sailing Academy at 40knots or even venture as far afield as the magnificent Old Harry Rocks! A private charter is a great way to celebrate that special occasion or just a lovely holiday treat, just imagine watching the sunset at Durdle Durdle with a glass of bubbly in hand- perfect!
Review
Dorset's coastline is not only one of the most beautiful and picturesque coastlines within our shores, it is also the most historic, hence the title of Jurassic Coastline. The cove at Lulworth helps to prove that this comment is totally true, but then there is an attraction that helps you experience this 185 million year old coastline from a whole different perspective. Lulworth Rib-rides are becoming one of Dorset's must do attractions, and until you've experienced a trip on one of these amazing vessels you've not lived. I've been fortunate enough during my time writing these books to of journeyed on a few Rib-Rides, and everyone thrills me just as much as the other, but being able to travel along the worlds only natural world heritage site is truly an an experience I will never forget. Finally, if your truly lucky, you may even spot a bottle-nosed dolphin!
